Twin sisters Arisha and Avisha Goundar left Fiji National University’s Open Day at Nasinu Campus feeling more inspired than ever to follow their shared dream of becoming accountants.

Both Year 13 students at Vashist Muni College in Navua, they are currently studying Accounting, Economics, and Computer Science, alongside English and Mathematics.

“I’ve always wanted to work in finance,” said Arisha.

“Seeing the accounting programme here made me realise it’s the right place for me to start my journey.”

Avisha resonated with her sister’s enthusiasm.

“We’ve dreamed of this since childhood. Attending the open day showed us the pathways we can take, and we’re more determined than ever to succeed,” she said.

Accompanied by their teachers and fellow students, the twins eagerly explored the university’s facilities and programmes.
