The Fiji National University (FNU) Open Day at Nasinu Campus attracted students from across the region and beyond, including two Chinese nationals, George Li and Justin Zeng.

Both are Year 9 students at Church College Fiji. Their visit highlighted the international appeal of FNU’s programmes and facilities.

Li, who arrived in Fiji in 2022, expressed his excitement about exploring the campus for the first time.

“This is my first time inside FNU Nasinu campus,” he said.

“I’ve only seen it from outside before, but today, I was just thrilled and very impressed with the facilities.”

Zeng, who has been residing in Fiji since 2017, shared similar sentiments.

“I really love the university’s well-maintained and spacious environment,” Zeng said.

“It’s somewhat similar to the universities back home in China.”

“The campus is very well groomed and provides a great atmosphere for learning.”

Their visit demonstrated FNU’s outreach and the university’s appeal to prospective students from diverse backgrounds.
