After a year of dedication, sacrifice, and hard work, a registered nurse from Tuvalu proudly celebrates the completion of his Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery.

His journey, filled with both challenges and triumphs, marks an important milestone in his personal and professional life.

“Today I feel so glad, so happy and excited that we have made it through the year of study. I’m so happy and I’m so glad, I’m so joyful,” he said.

The completion of this programme represents not only academic success but also personal fulfillment. For him, it is a dream realised after months of commitment.

Pursuing a postgraduate programme away from home is not without difficulties. He openly acknowledges the many challenges he encountered throughout the year.

“There were a lot of challenges in the life of a student. But to me, it’s all okay—we managed to get through all the challenges and difficulties. What makes me so happy is that I have achieved what I have been looking for.”
