Unit Name: Principles of Veterinary Anatomy and Physiology

Description: Introduction to Veterinary Anatomy and Physiology in general. Gross anatomical studies of skeleton, bones, joints, heart and major blood vessels, brain and major nerves of the body. Study of simple and compound stomach, liver, kidneys, uterus, ovaries and lungs. Major anatomical structures related to the present in the eye, ear and hoof. Dental formula of domestic animals. Physiology of digestive, heart, respiratory, urinary, reproductive, special senses, skin, skeletal, nervous system and hormones.
