Unit Name: Planning Research II

Description: This course is the final requirement for undergraduate students to finish their study in Urban and Regional Program. It is a synthesis from all courses given. The course has obliged students to take case study related to urban, regional, transport planning or other planning themes. Containing analysis, findings, recommendation, weakness of study and suggestion for further study, the final script has previously based on relevant theoretical foundation and overview on study area chosen.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, you should be able to: a. Apply the skills and knowledge attained during the earlier years of undergraduate program (GPIA- 1, GPIA-2, GPIA-3, GPIA-4, GPIA-5) b. Carry out the experiments, modelling as described in the project proposal (GPIA-2, GPIA-3, GPIA- 4, GPIA-5, GPIA-6) c. Utilize the project proposal document to make real Research (GPIA-2, GPIA-3, GPIA-4, GPIA-5, GPIA-6) d. Analyze the experimental or modelling results (GPIA-2, GPIA-3, GPIA-4, GPIA-5, GPIA-6) e. Demonstrate the ability to draw sound conclusions from the research work (GPIA-2, GPIA-3, GPIA- 4, GPIA-5, GPIA-6, GPIA-7) f. Provide a project in a document (potentially publishable) (GPIA-2, GPIA-3, GPIA-4, GPIA-5, GPIA- 6, GPIA-8)
