Unit Name: Assessment in TVET

Description: This course focusses on the theories relating to assessment principles, approaches to assessment and the purposes of the assessment. Through the course students will develop methods for planning holisitic assessment and for developing valid and reliable assessment tools. They will develop critical reflection skills for questioning and evaluating assessment practices and evaluating the learning and interpreting and reporting on the outcomes of the assessment.

Prerequisite Sentence: Successful completion of Year 1 and 2 BED TVET Programme at the Fiji National University, School of Education.
