Unit Name: Research in TVET

Description: This Research in TVET course has been specifically developed for Bachelor of Education (Specialist TVET) students. Through the course students will acquire specific skills and develop their ability to make informed choices about research design and methods through identifying and exploring an issue or problem experienced in TVET teaching or a related TVET area. Students will explore basic terms and types of research and develop an individual research proposal which they will present and defend. They are expected to be able to respond effectively to challenging research related questions from their peers.

Prerequisite Sentence: Successful completion of Year 1 and 2 BED TVET Programme at the Fiji National University, School of Education.
