Unit Name: Study Skills in TVET

Description: This course TVT601 is a cross-disciplinary and addresses the literacy demands students will encounter in their studies at the Fiji National University. It prepares students to be effective and critical users of language across their studies in the various discipline and curriculum-based courses. Therefore it concentrates on developing students own literacy skills across spoken, written and visual (multimediated) modes of language within the context of their courses. Approaches to reading and writing for the purpose of acquiring transforming and demonstrating knowledge will be emphasised.
