Unit Name: Assessment and Evaluation In TVET Classrooms

Description: This course focusses on the theories relating to assessment principles, approaches to assessment and the purposes of the assessment. Through the course students will develop methods for planning holistic assessment, and valid and reliable assessment tools. They will develop critical reflection skills for questioning, evaluating assessment practices as well as interpreting and reporting on the assessment outcomes.

Prerequisite Sentence: A Trade Certificate/Diploma in any TVET content area and 3-5 years of work experience.
