Unit Name: Introduction to Aquaculture

Description: This unit focuses on becoming familiar with the design and operation of extensive and intensive culture facilities and to understand species?specific culture requirements (temperature, water quality etc.), and how to maintain optimal conditions in the various culture systems. Students will be able to utilise the techniques and knowledge from this unit to set- up and operate aquaculture farms.
