Unit Name: Food and Nutrition in Sports

Description: This course offers students the opportunity to study and learn new ways that may be different from what they have experienced before entering University life. The opportunity also extends into the proper way to: (a) understand the food and nutrition and also micronutrients required in various sports, (b) the basic principles of food and nutrition in sports and diet chart for athletes.

Prerequisite: N/A

Prerequisite Sentence: Student must pass in Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination (12 years of continuous progression with 200 marks or obtained 50% in English, Math?s and Biology ) or equivalent. Matured entry provision as in UASR.
