Description: Soil chemistry and soil, essential and beneficial elements, forms of plant nutrients in soil, nutrient transport and availability of plant nutrients. Nitrogen, forms, cycle and nitrogen fixation. Phosphorus, cycle, forms, potassium, functions, deficiency, toxicity of primary and secondary nutrients. Micronutrients, sources, forms, deficiencies in soil and plants. Soil microorganisms, soil fertility evaluation and plant and soil analysis. Fertilizer recommendations and integrated nutrient management.
