Description: Importance of soil ,soil and environment, soil formation, weathering of rocks and minerals ,soil profile ,classification of soils, soil physical properties ,chemical properties of soil, fertility soil acidity soil salinity and alkalinity, important plant nutrients physiological roles and deficiency symptoms of essential plant nutrients organic matter and microbes fertilizers, organic manures organic farming organic agriculture organic manures and composting vermicomposting and green bio fertilizers. Farming systems, biological control of insect ,bio pesticides ,inspection and certification of an organic farm, accreditation of an organic farm ,climate change impacting on soils.
