Unit Name: Psychiatry IV

Description: PSY900 is the final year of the MMED – Psychiatry programme. Following on from PSY820 and PSY830, this course utilizes the prior knowledge, skills and attitudes demonstrated, to enable the candidate to function as a trainee Psychiatrist. This year contains both research and clinical components. The research component is outlined in MED812. This course is offered to be flexible such that candidates can be apprentices to specialists either in Fiji, or in their home countries where a suitable supervisor is available, or in an overseas placement approved by FNU. Embedded within the final year is a research project MED 840 which the candidate must successfully complete to pass PSY900
