Unit Name: Roof Work Theory

Description: This unit specifies the outcome of safe work practice when undertaking plumbing work on roof structures and coordinate the delivery, receipt and handling of roofing materials on a site. Requires setting out roof flash and walling penetration. Select and install roof sheeting, steel battens and wall cladding for roofs. It includes the selection and installation of non-metallic roof materials associated with metal roofing. Select and install industrial type roofing components in roofs. Installation of roof drainage components, rainwater goods and composite roofs.
