Unit Name: Sanitation & Drainage

Description: This unit is concerned with standard installations and requirements of Sanitation and Drainage works in urban and country districts within Fiji. Upon completion of this unit, the students will be able to prepare annotated sketches to fully describe the materials selected, produce drawings and specification notes to fully describe the installation of sanitary fittings, and produce a working checklist to inspect the complete drainage installation. Overall provides the students with the above-ground drainage systems, sanitary appliances, fittings and pipe sizing knowledge and expertise required.
