Unit Name: MSc Major Research Project in Physics (Part Time)

Description: The research project will be supervised by one of the academic members of the Fiji National University where the students do research on a specific chosen area of physics. The duration of this project is one full academic year. At the end of the academic year, the student presents a dissertation for partial fulfilment of the Master of Science degree in Physics. The project will be marked as per the Master of Science Degree’s rules and regulations of the Fiji National University.

Learning Target Outcomes: The course will involve research and thesis writing. As a result of successfully completing this course the students will be able to: 1. Design and frame the methodology 2. Write a proposal 3. Carry out literature review on the topic 4. Perform necessary methodology to achieve results 5. Write thesis and make presentation

Prerequisite: PGD/M.Sc Year 1 Pass or equivalent
