Unit Code: PHY602

Unit Name: Electronics

Description: Aim of this module is to provide an understanding of electronics from introductory level to electronic circuit design and implementation level. This course will begin with the very basics of DC and AC circuits and work way up to analogue electronic circuits with use of diodes, transistors, operational amplifiers and oscillators. Towards to the end of this course digital electronic circuits and applications will be discussed. Laboratory experiments are designed to augment theoretical knowledge gained in the lectures and also develop skills in handling advanced equipment.
