Unit Name: Electricity and Magnetism

Description: The purpose of course on Electricity and Magnetism is to provide a fundamental understanding of topics in the areas such as static electric and magnetic fields, electromagnetic forces, conductors and dielectrics, time-varying fields and electromagnetic waves. In the delivery of this unit, emphasis will be placed on the conduct of practical experiment and demonstration of safe and accurate use of laboratory equipments, developing skills in using scientific methods of solving problems, understanding of common principles and their application to a wide range of everyday situation and technology.
