Unit Name: Concepts of Rehabilitation

Description: This course examines core concepts which underpin rehabilitation. It enables students to explore and challenge their own rehabilitation practice through critical review of theory, evidence, and practice.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Critically analyse current rehabilitation concepts. 2. Critically analyse own rehabilitation practice in the context of existing theory and evidence. 3. Integrate knowledge of rehabilitation concepts into an identified area of rehabilitation practice. 4. Demonstrate presentation of work at an appropriate academic standard.
