Unit Name: Implementation of Sexual and Reproductive Health Program/Project Evaluation or SRH Research
Description: In this course, MSRH students will implement their SRH program/project evaluation or their SRH research, collect data, analyse and report their findings. The students will also prepare their draft manuscript for publication. They will also prepare their presentations on their findings at conferences or meetings and to the Faculty. The number of words for the thesis is 15,000.
Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, the students will be able to: 1. Implement the data collection procedures stipulated in the SRH program/project evaluation proposal or SRH research proposal & data cleaning management 2. Utilize appropriate analysing methods in the SRH program/project evaluation or to test the SRH hypothesis and answer the research question(s) in the SRH research proposal 3. Discuss the SRH program/project evaluation findings or SRH research findings in a manner which links existing knowledge to the research proposal in a way that expands the current body of knowledge by highlighting and addressing a gap in the current literature 4. Prepare the SRH program/project evaluation write-up or SRH research write up for presentation to and defence from a panel of content area experts from both within and outside Fiji National University 5. Prepare the SRH program/project evaluation write-up or SRH research write up for presentation in readiness for presentation at conference/meetings; as well as draft write-up for publication in academic, peer-reviewed journals
