Unit Name: OHS for Transportation & Manufacturing

Description: This course is designed to introduce students to the hazards and risk that are associated with transportation system activities and the different types of equipment that are used in manufacturing industries. The topics that are discussed include mechanical handling equipment which is an essential component of automation in industries and the identification of risks associated strenuous physical activities. There is also discussions on the training that can be provided to ensure that workers are equip with basic understanding of risk control activities to ensure personal safety.
