Unit Name: Metal Technology and Engineering 1?

Description: The course concentrates on both the theoretical and practical components of teaching metalwork in secondary schools. It is designed to consolidate and enhanced previously acquired knowledge and practical skills and develop new skills which will enable teachers to impart metalwork knowledge and skills, as identified by the Basic Technology Prescription, to their students. The course combines both lectures and practical workshop sessions, but has an emphasis on workshop practice and project work. Students are encouraged to utilize and combine different teaching strategies and resources to assist with the edification, consolidation and implementation of applied teaching styles for metalwork.?????
