Unit Name: M.Sc. Minor Research Project in Mathematics(Part Time)

Description: This course involves writing a mini-thesis, i.e. a coherent written exposition of a chosen topic within the field of mathematics. The topic of the project is decided by the supervisor together with the student. The project allows the student to make practical use of the knowledge gained through their graduate program and to learn to work independently. An essential part of the course consists of producing a written report (mini-thesis) with scientific qualities and an oral presentation of the project work.
