Unit Name: Abstract Algebra
Description: An introduction to the principles and concepts of modern abstract algebra. This course presents a study of topics selected from groups, normal groups, rings, ideas, integral domains, fields, polynomial-rings and isomorphism theorems. The objective of this course is to introduce the basic concepts of abstract algebra and establish the relation between groups, rings and fields. The course finishes with applications of the theory of rings and groups to field theory.
