Unit Name: Radiographic Image Interpretation and Reporting

Description: This course focuses on identifying anatomical structures and recognizing pathologies on diagnostic images. Students will develop effective search patterns, evaluate diagnostic images, and assess imaging modality limitations. Critical thinking skills are applied to provide informed opinions on radiological diagnoses. Written tests and practical exams ensure competency in image interpretation.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, the students will be able to: 1. Identify anatomical structures and recognize patterns of pathologies on diagnostic images. 2. Develop effective search patterns for accurate image interpretation. 3. Evaluate diagnostic images by applying assessment criteria. 4. Assess diagnostic limitations of imaging modalities for appropriate selection. 5. Demonstrate critical thinking to provide informed opinions on radiodiagnosis.

Prerequisite: MIS611 (Sectional Imaging Anatomy) and MIS615 (Imaging Pathology)
