Unit Name: Human Anatomy and Physiology II

Description: This course will take a classical approach to relate the structures and functions of the nervous, gastrointestinal, endocrine and genitourinary systems.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, the students will be able to: 1. Recognize and describe the macroscopic and microscope structure and function of the nervous systems. 2. Describe the macroscopic and microscope structure and function of the gastrointestinal system. 3. Recognize and describe the macroscopic and microscope structure and function of the urinary system. 4. Explain the macroscopic and microscope structure and function of the endocrine and reproductive systems. 5. Describe how the above systems function and interact with each other and the rest of the body to maintain homeostasis. 6. Apply the knowledge of anatomy and physiology to medical imaging studies.
