Unit Name: Business Process Management

Description: BPM is a core area for entrepreneurship, business and management students to critically evaluate and apply the basic modeling and improvement of the business processes that constitute business organizations ? small, medium or large. This unit has been designed for postgraduate students who are interested analyzing business organizations in terms of their business processes and in developing innovative business models by creating new business models based on the business process analysis, improvement and optimization. This unit aims to introduce the concepts and techniques involved in the different stages of business process management (BPM) life cycle. Special emphasis will be on development of generic and/or specific business process models for prevailing business systems.
