Unit Name: English for Academic Studies

Description: This unit offers learners the opportunity to grasp various components of English for academic studies. It begins with re-visiting study skills and core writing skills. Learners will be exposed to the mechanics of the planning and writing processes, honing the skills of data collection, and acknowledging and referencing sources of literature. Students will learn to plan, prepare and present proposals/seminars and research papers. This unit makes students aware that plagiarism is unacceptable.
