Unit Name: LMV Control System Workshop

Description: This course offers the students an understanding of the concept of Running Gears Workshop. Also enable students to acquire an in-depth knowledge of Running Gears components and their operating principles.

Learning Target Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Carry out fault diagnosis, service and repair on Light Motor vehicle’s Wheels and Tires. 2. Carry out fault diagnosis, service and repair on Light Motor vehicle’s Suspension system. 3. Carry out fault diagnosis, service and repair on Light Motor vehicle’s Steering System. 4. Carry out fault diagnosis, service and repair on Light Motor vehicle’s Braking System. 5. Carry out Ackermann angle adjustments.
