Unit Name: Manual Transmission & Drive Workshop

Description: This course offers the students an understanding of the concept of Manual Transmission & Clutches System, Drive shaft/axel. Also enable students to acquire an in-depth knowledge of Manual Transmission & Clutches System, Drive shaft/axel shaft components and their operating principles. This course offers the student the chance to utilize the theory aspect into practical implication of the concept of Manual Transmission & Clutches System, Drive shaft/axel shaft related with electrical/electronic components and their operating principles. It will further enlighten on the importance of performing tasks according to the repair manual due to its constructional design with more Manual Transmission & Clutches systems, Drive shaft/axel shaft in the advanced automobile technology.

Learning Target Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Demonstrate the operation, fault diagnosis, service and repair Clutches System. 2. Illustrate the operation, fault diagnosis, service and repair on Manual Transmission & system. 3. Demonstrate the operation, fault diagnosis, service and repair on Drive line & Shafts. 4. Carry out the operation, fault diagnosis, service and repair Rear Axle. 5. Check the operation, fault diagnosis, service and repair Final drives.
