Unit Name: Law and Pacific Society

Description: This course examines theories of jurisprudence and focus on customs and laws in the Pacific. Secondly, students will develop deeper critical awareness of the complexities associated with above questions by examining them via the theoretical lenses offered by postcolonial scholars. Individual and group work on specific case studies on a custom and law issue will offer students specific case examples in which to apply their theoretical learnings.
