Unit Name: Conversational iTaukei

Description: The purpose of this unit is to help students communicate meaningfully in oral and written iTaukei language. This program aims to help students develop fluency and accuracy both in oral and written iTaukei by practicing basic skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing. The program is mainly for non-Fijian speakers who may wish to learn in order to communicate meaningfully. The whole Language Approach will be employed to make basic reading purposeful and enjoyable. Conversational i-Taukei skills will help develop multi-cultural dialogues in the education sector and in our society. This is a 100% Continuous Assessment unit.
