Unit Name: Industry Training
Description: The diploma graduates are required to work in the industry to diagnose, rectify and ensure the safety operation of various process and plants of different discipline, practice professional work ethics, evaluate sustainability of engineering work, analyses and investigate engineering design, communicate effectively and are required to show initiative and be part of devise technical team. This course will offer students with important practical knowledge and skills, and will expose them to the real work environment with hands on experience. In this course, students will be able relate their theoretical knowledge to practical work with the exposure of specific engineering practise. The course has been designed for the students to reflect engineering practice from the practical work environment with real life experience on the equipment’s, instruments and various kind of process and plants.

Prerequisite: Completion of all courses of Semester 1 to 5 of Diploma in Engineering Programme (Students who may have not completed all the courses may be approved to enrol on case-by-case basis)
Prerequisite Sentence: Pass all the units
