Unit Name: Tourism Marketing

Description: This course is an introduction to the Marketing of Tourism and Hospitality in the South Pacific Island Countries. This course also assists students in identifying the target markets and estimating demand in the Tourism Industry. It covers the different parts of Marketing such as packaging, branding, pricing, promotion, advertising and distribution.Through this course students will be able to learn about the Consumer and Industrial Buying Behaviour, Marketing Strategy and Planning, Marketing Research and the Marketing Environment, and Implication of Tourism Marketing. This course also examines how Marketing facilities exchange between individuals or consumers and organizations in order to satisfy the goals of both parties within the Tourism and Hospitality sector.
