Unit Name: Hospitality Services Operation II

Description: Managed Services Operations in a Hospitality industry include segments such as airline, military, school and colleges, health care facilities, and businesses. It deals with recreation, meeting and control. Recreation simply is the free time that people have and use to restore, rest, and relax their minds and bodies. It cans passive or active, and individual or a group activity. Meetings on the other hands are events designed to bring people together for the purpose of exchanging information. Control is the management function that provides information on the degree to which goals and objectives are being accomplished. Thus this course aims to provide students with an overview of Managed Services, Recreation, Theme Parks, and Clubs, Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conventions, Exhibitions (MICE) and Event Management, Managerial Areas of the Hospitality Industry, Planning, Organizing, Communication and Decision Makings, Human Resources and Control.
