Unit Name: Introduction to Hospitality & Hotel Operations

Description: This course is designed to provide students an insight into the ?real world? of hotel operations. Students capacity to think will be developed through the analysis of the hotel industry and the subsequent development of tactics relevant to todays dynamic hotel operation. This course aims to provide students with an insight into the practical aspects of hotel operations as well as the development of tactics relevant for implementation in todays dynamic hotel operations.

Prerequisite: Pass in Year 13

Prerequisite Sentence: The student must have passed Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination (Form 6) or consent from HOD.
