Unit Name: Human Resource and Management

Description: Human Resources Management (HRM) operates in organizational, economic, political, legal, and social contexts. These contexts changed dramatically during the last decades of the 20th century and, as a consequence, the nature of work, social relationships, and the role of work in society have now taken new forms. These developments pose dilemmas and create tension for Human Resources Manager, as well as Line Managers. This Course is an essential requirement for students wishing to take up HRM as a career, and a desirable qualification for all managers, irrespective of their specialization.
