Unit Name: Contemporary Hindi Prose

Description: Contemporary Prose in Hindi will require students to critically read and appraise fiction and non-fiction literature texts and evaluate films based on these texts. Students will be provided with opportunities to compare and critique the novel and the film; write academic essays using relevant literary criticism and literary theories. This unit will also encourage students to develop critical analysis skills while critiquing the novel and the film.
