Unit Name: Building Services Technology.

Description: This course builds on the knowledge and skills in GRD654 and WWT656, with an emphasis on Auto-CADD skills and drafting techniques applied to: project drawings, in architecture, civil, mechanical and electrical installation design. It also aims to develop the skills necessary to select, interpret, and apply appropriate knowledge, concepts and techniques to bring projects to its successful completion. Topics to be covered include, design methodology, use of computers and Auto-CADD packages in design, electrical installation design, selection of motors and design of the electromagnetic controllers, preparation of project documentation.????
