Unit Name: Introduction to Physical Geography
Description: Introduction to Physical Geography is a level 5 or first year degree course that examines the physical elements of geography. These elements include the various \\\"spheres\\\" of the earth, (atmosphere, the lithosphere, the hydrosphere, and the biosphere), the earth in its orbit, the nature and distribution of landforms, the earth?s shape, plate tectonics and earth-building processes, the elements of weather and climate, soils, and vegetation.
