Unit Name: Introduction to Digital Photography

Description: This unit aims to develop a competency for digital photography, amongst students studying graphic design. Using DSLR's, advanced design/graphics software and Apple computers to develop a design from a concept, right up to a finished product and using digital photography to enhance ones work and artistic skill. The student designer will be taught basic digital photography and advanced artwork generation using computer assisted layouts. This is just one of the 10 units and is taught to students in the 2 Semester programme.
