Unit Name: Digital Print Production Advertising Skills

Description: The digital print and Advertising skills course introduces students in exploring various approaches and strategic design solutions to solving advertising design problems while developing the process of articulating their own unique visions as a commercial designer artist. The creative process is experienced first hand as students produce strategies to produce innovative and effective advertising digital print concepts. The course emphasis applied studio practice and project work with a view to the attainment of signage advertising design skills.

Prerequisite: N/A

Prerequisite Sentence: Successful completion of GAD401, GAD406, GAD407, GAD408 units, or on the basis of maturity above the age limit of 21 years with 2 year work experience in a creative design industry, or prior learning based on submission of a personal authentic print/digital Graphic arts and Design assessment portfolio simulating the minimum benchmark standards pertaining to the program unit structure with a high level of English comprehension reviewed endorsed by the program facilitator .
