Description: The syllabus covers forestry's economic perspective, review of forest resources in the world and in Fiji, margin, elasticity, costing, structure, conduct, performance, accounting entity & basic ledger entries, accounting for long-term assets, inventory valuation, difference between accountants and economists, basic economic efficiency conditions, financial analysis of forestry projects, economics and project design, forest rotation problem, capital budgeting & independent projects, non-market benefits and costs, social economic analysis, forest taxes, forest valuation and marketing.
