Unit Name: Food System and Sustainability

Description: This course provides the opportunity for students to be aware of the whole global, regional and local food systems and how sustainable it is, given the current human practices, consumption coupled with the changing enviromental conditions. The issue of food security, production, processing, quality and safety and how to develop a sustainable food system.
