Unit Name: Freshwater Aquaculture

Description: This unit allows students to learn the basics of aquaculture, history of aquaculture, freshwater aquaculture species, types of fish farms, seed procurement, site selection for fish farm, production and growout, water quality management techniques, feeds and feeding methods of commonly cultured freshwater species, fish health and diseases and broodstock maintenance for cultured freshwater species.
