Unit Name: Study of Wines and Alcohol

Description: This course is designed to provide Food & Beverage students with the basic knowledge of wines, alcoholic, non alcoholic beverages and their correct service techniques. This course is aimed to provide students to work in the hospitality industry and provide an excellent overview of the service and storage of wine and other alcohol in different working environment. This will focus on key topics such as the ideal conditions for storage of wine and techniques available to preserve wine once it has been opened.
