Unit Name: Restaurant Services: Theory & Practice I

Description: This course is designed to provide students with the basic skill and knowledge of restaurant service. It looks at the roles of the personnel in any restaurant service as well as provides an opportcoursey for the students to study the types of restaurant equipment. It provides hands on experience for the students to serve guests and prepare and present guest bills.

Prerequisite: N/A

Prerequisite Sentence: The student must have passed form Five [Year 11] or consent from HOS,HOD. For matured students must have relevant number of years industry experience or equivalent.
