Unit Name: Principles of Environmental Health

Description: This is the core foundational course for all EH Postgraduate Diploma programmes – including the specialty programmes. It must be taken in the first semester of study. For those who are from an Environmental Health background, this course is designed to refresh existing Environmental Health knowledge.

Learning Target Outcomes: On successful completion of this course, the students will be able to: 1. Explain the context of Environmental Health. 2. Discuss the basic components of our natural. 3. Convey the context of our various anthropogenic (human-made) environments. 4. Comprehend the things we need to live and affect the environment. 5. Manage how we as humans live with our natural. 6. Apply the various methods of Environmental Health.
