Description: This course provides the students the foundations to learn the environmental health implications in regional, urban planning and rural planning.

Learning Target Outcomes: After completion of this course, the student should be able to: 1. Discuss the philosophy of Town Planning 2. Critically analyse the role of Local Authorities in Town Planning 3. Discuss the Laws and Policies surrounding Housing and how it affects population health on amenities and Town Planning 4. Explain locations and plans using existing GIS Software for Survey\'s in Planning 5. Compare the services used and available in Urban and Rural Settings with ethical principles 6. Explain the roles of development partners and sustainability of projects with ethical obligations 7. Examine the process of land valuation
